Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics, or equivalent logistics knowledge acquired through experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
  • In-depth SAP and warehouse management system design and implementation experience, preferably extended warehouse management.
  • Experience leading a small expert team and collaborating with remote stakeholders and partners.
  • Cross-functional process understanding, insight, and visualization abilities.
  • Ability to distill, negotiate, and communicate business requirements in line with strategic direction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own warehouse system business process blueprints, solution development, and solution templates.
  • Own warehouse system business process specifications in Amgen’s DQMS.
  • Own and drive business tasks across planning, requirements gathering, design, build, testing, migration, training, and deployment.
  • Lead warehouse system changes from initiation through deployment.
  • Support warehouse capacity master data maintenance and validation, analysis, scenario assessment, and dashboards.
  • Ensure uninterrupted production and supply through warehouse processes, systems, and capacity.
  • Lead business requirements gathering and process mapping with site subject-matter experts, Technology, and other stakeholders.
  • Own warehouse system validation tasks, documents, and assessments.
  • Drive and govern warehouse process and system implementation tasks.
  • Develop and document warehouse training content, documentation, audiovisual materials, learning activities, and training qualifications.
  • Define, document, and maintain warehousing system user roles; approve role assignments and perform periodic audits.
  • Drive CCMS changes as an owner or assessor.
  • Collaborate with sites, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Technology, technology partners, and other stakeholders to optimize business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities and assess the impact of technologies, best practices, trends, and events on business processes and systems.
  • Identify and deliver savings and process improvements through continuous improvement.
  • Drive warehousing initiatives to completion in support of Manufacturing and Supply.
  • Contribute to Community of Practice collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development.
  • Support the Warehouse Capacity Manager in maintaining uninterrupted production and supply through warehouse capacity and inventory placement.
  • Lead a small team across AIN Processes, Systems, and Capacity.
  • Act as the expert advisor and decision-maker for owned warehouse system blueprints, solution templates, documents, tasks, and system changes.
  • Deliver warehouse system blueprints, solution templates, validation records, assessments, specifications, test scripts and sets, validation documentation, requirements traceability matrices, training materials, and timely system deployments.
  • Own warehouse capacity data, dashboards, risks, and utilization insights.

Amgen and AstraZeneca lung cancer drug combo meets survival goal in phase III study

Amgen and AstraZeneca announced positive results from the phase III DeLLphi-305 study evaluating Amgen's Imdelltra (tarlatamab) combined with AstraZeneca's Imfinzi (durvalumab) as first-line maintenance treatment for extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC).
