As a Director of Membership Marketing located in Atlanta, GA or remotely you will be managing the strategic development, execution, and optimization of Shipt’s offering. This role involves crafting innovative strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention, overseeing the operational execution of these initiatives, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the success of loyalty initiatives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
While no two days are the same, you will devise near term and long term strategies to support the evolution of Shipt’s marketplace benefit for consumers. Play a pivotal role in marketing promotional strategy for membership and delivery offerings, leveraging data to guide decisions. Partner with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and bring strategies to life. Demonstrate accountability for key performance metrics, with keen eye to ensuring team strategies contribute to business goals. Build “Executive ready” project deliverables and provide constant and clear communication of objectives, status, tactics, and results to all relevant stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Also, demonstrate intense curiosity to learn the business, the consumer, and the market by staying informed of competitive loyalty trends.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree
- You have 10 years of experience within loyalty marketing or digital marketing
- You have experience working for a marketplace company or company with a subscription model
- You have the ability to operate in ambiguity, adapting to a dynamic environment to change scope and focus with ease
- You have a deep understanding of how to integrate consumer insights and strategic business analysis to inform business and marketing strategies; this includes segmentation, need states, and test and learn approaches
- You have experience in retail promotional levers and budgets
- You have experience coaching others and building organizational talent relative to loyalty marketing and driving consumer-centric decision making.
- You have experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including stakeholders at all levels
- You have strong analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; must have experience storytelling through data and slide presentations
- You must be able to travel up to 25% as required.
Work Arrangement
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:
$138,129-$276,364
All other locations:
$115,214-$230,321
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
