As our company continues to grow, we recognize the importance of maintaining a robust and reliable technology infrastructure. The SRE role is crucial to ensuring the stability and performance of our systems, and we believe that the right candidate will play a key role in achieving our goals.

Responsibilities

Development and Deployment of AWS Cloud Services using Infrastructure as a Code tools like Cloudformation and Terraform
Develop Automation pipelines by working with Engineering teams using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Deployment and maintaining containers and thier orchestaration using EKS or Kubernetes
Work with Engineering teams in making the application more reliable and participate in resolution of performance issues
Participate in the Release Deployment and Automation around it
Develop the necessary alerts and notifications for the Observability Platform (Datadog)

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, EKS, API Gateway, lambdas)
Experience with working with infra orchestration and configuration management tools such as Cloudformation or terraform
Experience with Observability platforms like Datadog, prometheus or splunk
Experience with any CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Bamboo)
Understanding of Containers and Container Orchestration using Kubernetes.

Nice to have

Experience with any programming languages like Python, Go, or Java to automate tasks and develop tools
Experience with supporting production environments for web-based applications
Understanding/experience of modern architecture/approaches/paradigms: soa/microservices, serverless/immutable infra, saas/paas
