Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and ideally 3+ years as Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience MUST include developing Controls Plans, FMEAs, process capabilities, Gatekeeper for GD&T, blueprints, customer specifications, ECNs, Quality sign-offs, ISO/TS16949, ISO-9001, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with and/or PPAP submission for industry.
  • Exhibit current knowledge of APQP Engineering for new launches and ECNs.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the project Kick-off Meetings, support project team development for internal requirements, verify layout data, customer specific requirements, Risk Priority Number (RPN) reductions, analyze SPC data, etc.
  • Work with customer requirements and internal processes to align product design to scale production with exceptional quality for critical equipment
  • Document the results for specific program characteristics and ensure that internal and external requirements are met including deviations.
  • Develop Control Plans, Capability Studies, Part layouts, Inspection Instructions, Gage design and R&R, FMEAs, etc.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to develop fixtures and job aids prior to production launch.
  • Develop new and unique products and processes to solve critical challenges
