What You'll Do:

HR Leadership: Manage day-to-day HR functions, including HRIS system (BambooHR), employee engagement, policy interpretation, and employee life-cycle management.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee new hire integration, employee retention, and exit processes.
HR Compliance: Stay updated on HR laws, ensuring policies comply with legal requirements and managing benefits enrollment.
Team Development: Lead and mentor HR staff and provide training/coaching to supervisors on performance management, growth opportunities, and corrective actions.

What We're Looking For:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or similar.
6+ years of HR experience in progressively responsible leadership roles may substitute for a degree.
PHR Certification preferred.
Experience:
4+ years in Human Resources leadership roles.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Generalist or Employee Relations.
Experience in construction or manufacturing environments preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and business management techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and resolve complex issues.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
