Requirements
  • A proven track record building a market or practice, including growing a pipeline, winning clients, and understanding the commercial mechanics of professional services or advisory businesses.
  • Deep consulting credibility in learning, workforce transformation, or adjacent talent and people strategy, with the ability to discuss enterprise skilling, artificial intelligence in learning, and learning return on investment with C-suite leaders.
  • Experience across organisation design, change management, workforce strategy, or talent operating models, with confidence leading or contributing beyond the learning discipline.
  • Experience personally leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformations or learning initiatives end-to-end while sustaining quality and client trust across long engagements.
  • Commercial orientation and the ability to balance chargeable client work with market growth.
  • Applied experience with artificial intelligence, automation, or intelligent platforms in learning or workforce contexts.
  • Experience engaging senior learning, talent, and business stakeholders, including the ability to influence at C-suite level.
  • Senior leadership capability to build a team, set direction, develop talent, and create accountability.
  • A background in management consulting, learning and skills advisory, workforce transformation, or learning technology in a senior advisory or commercial role rather than traditional internal learning leadership.
  • Flexibility and mobility to spend time onsite with clients and partners.
Responsibilities
  • Own the growth agenda for the Learning offering by building a pipeline, originating client opportunities, shaping propositions, and working across the Talent Reinvention and T&O network to win and scale work.
  • Lead senior client engagements end-to-end as trusted advisor and engagement sponsor across complex learning transformation programmes, artificial-intelligence skilling initiatives, and enterprise capability-building mandates.
  • Architect and oversee delivery of large-scale enterprise learning transformations end-to-end, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across strategy, content, technology, and managed services.
  • Lead or co-lead work connecting learning and skilling to workforce strategy, organisation design, change and adoption, and talent operating models.
  • Drive the innovation agenda in enterprise learning by bringing new thinking on artificial intelligence in learning, enterprise skilling architecture, and learning operating models to clients and the market.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the Learning offering by developing propositions, identifying market opportunities, and building the team and capability needed to pursue them.
  • Establish thought leadership and market eminence by creating client-facing points of view, representing Accenture at industry forums, and building the practice's profile in artificial-intelligence-powered enterprise learning.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, coaching, and developing consultants with expertise in artificial-intelligence-enabled learning and workforce transformation.
  • Collaborate with LearnVantage product leadership, ecosystem partners, and Accenture's global network to develop and scale integrated learning solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Specific examples of applying artificial intelligence, automation, or emerging technology to enterprise-scale learning, talent, or workforce transformation challenges.
  • Experience with modern learning technology ecosystems and artificial-intelligence-enabled learning platforms, including advising clients on platform strategy and selection.
  • A network within the CHRO, CLO, or senior Learning or HR community, or a track record of building those relationships quickly.
  • Experience contributing to or leading market-facing thought leadership in learning, skills, or workforce transformation.
  • A background in management consulting human capital practices, learning and skills consultancies, or workforce and HR technology companies in a senior commercial or advisory capacity.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
