Diagnostic Product Specialist

Job Description:

• Become an expert in clinical procedures, operation, installation, hardware and software for all of Keeler’s diagnostic products through company provided training and self-education.
• Provide clinical and technical product expertise, educate the end users, to maximize the product’s performance for the use.
• Provide hands-on field training/in-services in addition to technical support remotely by phone, video conference.
• Execute product demonstrations and presentations as part of sales support and broader awareness.
• Partner with internal direct sales teams to help with facilitating repairs, returns, trials and loaners of Keeler’s diagnostic products
• Relay with pertinent information relating to product feedback, competition, market trends and analysis to sales team and strategic marketing.
• Dealer training and sales support to effectively grow sales through our dealer network.
• Document all sales/support exchanges via CRM
• Prioritize customer support and take initiative in owning individual US and OUS support/repairs as needed
• Assist with developing and updating technical support documents
• Assist Keeler Manufacturing and Repair Center with diagnostic product testing as needed
• Attend trade shows and industry events as needed
• Complete tasks and projects assigned by management.
• Ability to memorize details on product specifications.
• Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire the customer to purchase the product.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree – business, technical or nursing concentrations preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience required; ophthalmic industry experience is a plus
• Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customer concerns or objections
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation skills and professionalism

• Technologically savvy with ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Outgoing and willing to put in extra effort
• Will require up to 50% travel, some overnight and weekend, including air travel
