Requirements
  • Several years Demand Planning experience in a FMCG or Food Retail company
  • Proven Data Insights and communication skills
  • Business Acumen and Demand Planning Tool expertise
  • Storytelling/ ability to turn Insights into a narrative
  • Strong personality with natural authority
  • Fluency in German and English language mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive demand plans using statistical models, market insights, and historical data to support business objectives
  • Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Asset Productivity teams to understand key demand drivers and integrate them into accurate demand forecasts
  • Lead monthly Demand Review meetings, ensuring alignment between demand, sales, and asset productivity as part of the Integrated Business Planning process
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy by analyzing trends, identifying demand drivers, and updating forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Communicate and document forecast assumptions and changes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives
  • Drive the evolution of the demand planning strategy, adopting best practices, and collaborating with peers across regions to enhance the IBP process
  • Provide long-term demand analysis to support Supply Chain Leadership in assessing future capacity needs and ensuring operational readiness
  • Lead and participate in projects aimed at optimizing demand planning processes, tools, and systems, ensuring continuous process improvement
