Requirements
  • A bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is desired.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems management, including architecture, design, implementation, and troubleshooting required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive supervisory-management experience in IT required.
  • IT certification in related fields is desired (MSCE, ITIL, VCP).
  • Proven track record of successful project management and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure, virtualization system technologies (VMware vSphere, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V)
  • Experience designing, implementing, and administering Microsoft Exchange server.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with SAN Storage systems and experience with configuration and monitoring systems like Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, and SolarWinds.
  • Solid understanding of relational database servers (SQL).
  • Experience building and managing DR environments and supporting solutions with high availability and real-time monitoring.
  • Experience managing cloud environments.
  • Programming experience (Python, Perl, SQL, JAVA, PowerShell) is highly desired.
  • Experience with backup systems.
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and managing a wide range of IT infrastructure systems and services, including but not limited to servers, cloud computing, database administration, virtualization, and Windows infrastructure.
  • Managing a team of IT experts, including engineers and administrators.
  • Setting goals and objectives for the team, monitoring their tasks and projects, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Ensuring that the team adheres to best practices and that all systems and services are operating at peak performance.
  • Working closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that all systems and services are integrated and functioning effectively.
  • Staying up to date on the latest trends and technologies in IT systems and services and applying that knowledge to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's technology infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications
