A Day in the Life
This role will support the Global Marketing team in launching a new spine technology into international markets. UNiD is an advanced spinal technology utilizing AI to assist surgeon decision-making, surgical planning, and personalized implant solutions for improved patient outcomes.
Reporting to the International Marketing Director, the candidate will collaborate with UNiD teams in Lyon, France, and the United States. Candidates will also work directly with spinal surgeons globally to support product adoption. The responsibilities include launch preparation, market execution, and supporting the sales team. The role is remote-based, however, up to 70% international travel is required.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Contributes to establishing the annual goals and objectives of UNiD in the International Market
- Supports the Global Security and Privacy assessment to establish International launches and brings support to set up and develop annual Business plans to grow UNiD business across the International Market
- Works on a local level to ensure legal and compliance contracting is completed at the hospital level
- Supports onboarding of new accounts at a local level from both an administrative and clinical level and identifies business growth opportunities and potential unmet customer requirements and provides vision and focus to move ideas to the marketplace
- Works closely and supports the US team to ensure market development and global promotion of UNiD product lines and also supports the different regions (across the International Market) in cooperation with the local product specialists in developing and implementing local tactical Marketing and sales support activities
- Assures local input to plans and programs, including product launches, new product development, pricing and promotional programs, and training needs and supports regional promotion and public relations activities, including support for Medical meetings and assures alignment in other functional areas such as research, clinical development, education, reimbursement, and sales
- Works with the business unit to provide input on forecasts, inventory control, phase-in/out plans, clinical evaluation, etc.… and consistently and effectively communicates business/marketing strategies and directions to Business Country Managers and works to implement them
- Meets with customers regularly to assess future market needs and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders. Should also identify and support product strategies and report back to the UNiD Division on assessment of those ideas.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or MBA
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or finance analyses – business focused, with consistently strong performance
- Advanced IT skills in MS Office
- English fluent
- Knowledge of the orthopedic business
