Link’s10-week paid summer internship program is designed to helpstudents gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of commercial and industrial real estate. We offer internships in 15 departments including Capital Markets, Construction, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, IT, Leasing, Property Management, Marketing and more.
Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in a real estate internship on our treasuryteam in this upcoming summer. Summer interns will have the opportunity to become exposed to several markets and properties across the industrial spectrum and can expect to have close interaction with the broader accounting team.
Prepare wire packages related to debt service and special handling invoices
Research and process checks via remote deposit
Work closely with Accounting, AP and AP on daily requests related to bank account setups and transactionactivity
Assist with compiling account and tenant documentation related to new acquisitions, dispositions & financings
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports to the appropriate audience
Help analyze data and reports for treasury related tasks and projects
Participate in Ad-hoc projects as needed
Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution
Must be actively enrolled for consideration of internship
Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, or related field
Strong interest in commercial real estate asset management and investment (no formal experience required)
Exceptional knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently
$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
