Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience in Operations is required, Preneed Insurance field a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required
  • Experience with Verint applications is a plus
  • Comfort in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team, other Departments, vendors, and outside agencies, including being sensitive to professional ethics
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access (Tableau, VBA, SQL, a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software applications
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of capacity/staffing models for Preneed Inforce & New Business
  • Produce long and short-term forecasts, staffing recommendations, and lead decision making processes with management and leadership
  • Ownership of daily tactical workload distribution
  • Balance workload and maintain service level via the efficient and effective allocation of workload
  • Report on productivity, capacity, bottlenecks and opportunities
  • Deliver KPIs and metrics to help inform the business on opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain hiring plans to ensure staffing requirements are consistently met; balance attrition expectations with new hire classes
  • Foster and encourage an environment of continuous improvement
  • Provide feedback and develop initiatives to improve processes and performance
