Requirements
  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Prior managerial experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Mentor and train a talented team of post-production professionals, including editors, colorists, and media managers, in Adobe Premiere basics, color correction, and asset management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency, productivity, and project delivery.
  • Provide input on hardware and software budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental needs.
  • Collaborate with Leads and Producers to oversee all media management for post-production projects, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Offer technical feedback to post-production teams to maintain alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to post-production.
  • Evaluate and implement new software, hardware, and workflows to enhance the efficiency and quality of post-production processes.
  • Ensure that the department is equipped with up to date, well-maintained post-production equipment and software.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to deliver the highest standards of post-production output.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment by building effective teams and encouraging open communication and teamwork.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, production, creative, and technical teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
