  • Proven experience in a learning and development role, ideally within a complex or operational environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills- able to influence, challenge, and build trust at all levels.
  • Confident facilitator with experience delivering leadership or management development programmes and utilising multiple formats (in-person/ online/ social).
  • Comfortable working in both operational and corporate environments, adapting style and approach accordingly.
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality operational support for learning activities, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for learners.
  • Design and deliver engaging, learner-centric content across multiple formats: in-person, virtual, digital, and social learning.
  • Facilitate high impact learning sessions, including leadership development and behavioural skills programmes.
  • Support the redesign and delivery of Manager and Aspiring Manager programmes, ensuring relevance, inclusivity, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and People Partners to understand capability needs and co-create learning solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate Learning Needs Analyses (LNA/TNA) to identify gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
  • Stay informed on learning trends, tools, and innovations, bringing fresh thinking to Pennon’s learning offer.
  • Support the Learning & Development Lead in delivering strategic projects and embedding a learning culture across the Group.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in Learning and Development or Instructional Design (e.g., CIPD, ATD, TAP, or equivalent)
  • Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
