  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related STEM degree and twelve (12) years of progressively responsible network systems engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, at least fifteen (15) years of experience is required.
  • Active CISCO certification.
  • Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA).
  • Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS.
  • Experience with VMware/ESXi.
  • Experience with Switch VLAN setup.
  • Experience with VMware virtual NIC config for isolation.
  • Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
Responsibilities
  • Conducting network evaluations, hardware/software installations, and upgrades.
  • Configuring and optimizing network switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Configuring Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS).
  • Managing application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting virtual networking, VLANs, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs).
  • Developing and implementing network backup and recovery procedures.

  • Understanding of project design within the scope of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
