Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • One to two years of customer service experience is required.
  • One to two years of high-volume phone or sales experience is required.
  • A solid understanding of metrics-driven environments and a proven record of meeting or exceeding defined metrics are required.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with identifying local employment opportunities, populating job boards, creating resumes, and coordinating campus events to support active students in their job searches.
  • Prepare active students for industry employment by providing mock interview opportunities, resume workshops, career counseling sessions, career development courses, and job search techniques.
  • Plan and coordinate career fairs, employer visits, expos, virtual employer sessions, and other employment events so students can connect with employers and understand available entry-level industry positions.
  • Partner to promote and introduce students to student- and manufacturer-paid advanced training programs by delivering informational presentations, providing guidance about career opportunities, and explaining the value of advanced training.
  • Support strong employment rates for active students and graduates by following up with unemployed students and graduates through one-on-one meetings, classroom surveys, classroom presentations, phone calls, text messages, and social media contacts, and by using the EDGE team to market students to employers without job postings.
  • Meet ACCSC standards and applicable state guidelines by accurately collecting and recording student and graduate employment records.
  • Follow up with graduates and employers as needed to ensure employment verification information is submitted promptly and documented accurately.
