What you’ll achieve
As an Electrical Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for development of AC and DC Power Solutions for Rack-Level Data Center AI solutions. You will work with our global electrical, firmware, thermal, and mechanical engineering community on cutting edge AI solutions.

You will:  

• Develop, specify and validate power distribution units (PDUs) for use in IT Data Center Rack-Level solutions
• Perform PDU load balancing analysis to ensure efficient, reliable and safe power distribution solutions IT Datacenter Rack-Level solutions
• Develop, specify and validate custom AC power cables (WHIPs and Line Cords) for IT Data Center Rack-Level solutions
• Design and develop 48Vdc Power Distribution solutions for IT Datacenter Rack-Level solutions

Essential Requirements  

• 12+ years in an electrical engineering role with emphasis on both the technical and business aspects of power system product development for data center applications
• Expertise AC Utility and 48Vdc Power Distribution Architectures
• Expertise with Single Phase and 3 Phase  AC Power Distribution for IT Data Centers
• Experience with High-Current 48Vdc Power Distribution (Busbars and Cables)

Desirable Requirements  

• BS, MS or PhD in electrical engineering

Compensation

Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Base Salary Range for this role is $176,400 - $215,600
