Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • NASA awarded Abacus COMMSS II on July 1, 2025, worth up to $48.2 million.
  • The Air Force's $116 million intranet task order survived protest on June 11, 2025.
  • Abacus won FAA ITIPSS and MDA SHIELD awards, expanding 10-year pipeline depth.

What critics are saying

  • GSA ordered Abacus to transition out Saudi USMTM work by March 22, 2026.
  • Federal contract revenue concentration makes lost recompetes instantly painful if NASA or Air Force shifts vendors.
  • Abacus lacks a public-scale moat; bigger integrators like GDIT and Booz Allen can underprice bids.

What makes Abacus Technology unique

  • Abacus has recurring federal work across NASA, Air Force, FAA, and GSA vehicles.
  • Its OASIS+, FAA ITIPSS, and RS3 access broadens recompete and task-order optionality.
