Requirements
  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Ability to lift 50-pound bags and manually push pallets.
  • Ability to complete room sanitization certification, environmental monitoring certification, aseptic core certification, and an EHS health screen.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft programs, inventory management systems, document control systems, laboratory data systems, and visual inspection software is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others, with good oral and written skills.
  • Familiarity with component, raw material, and labeling techniques.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic math skills.
Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming quality inspections of packaging, product componentry, and raw materials.
  • Perform inspections of labeling, componentry, and raw materials using document control systems.
  • Perform sampling of nonsterile and sterile raw materials and components as required.
  • Interact with suppliers to satisfy State of Florida legal requirements and provide documentation to support material release.
  • Complete inspection documentation and perform inventory transactions in the inventory management system.
  • Identify revisions and improvements for current procedures and practices.
  • Assist in cross-training departmental personnel in inspection and sampling techniques.
  • Support and conduct nonconformance investigations.
  • Maintain safe work practices.
  • Support sterilization validation through sampling and inspection.
  • Use computer support programs, enterprise resource planning and inventory management systems, document control systems including Documentum, laboratory information systems including GLIMS, visual inspection software including GlobalVision, the Quality System including CatsWeb, and SmartScope.
  • Review and author department standard operating procedures.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings representing Incoming Quality Inspection.
  • Perform dimensional measurements using SmartScope.
  • Act as backup to Team Lead V as needed.
