Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program in Mechanical, Computer Science, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred
- Knowledge of embedded platform architecture, required. (GPU, PCIe, Camera)
- Working knowledge of networking protocols, required
- Experience in embedded software development, required
- Experience in linux operating systems, real time operating systems required
- Proficiency in python, C programming, required
- Prior experiences in autonomous driving/self driving, infotainment, or PC/Server technologies, preferred
- Must be located in Champaign, IL
- Must be available for 10-20 hours per week in the Spring and Fall semesters, and 40 hours in the Summer
- The internship is likely to start around May 2023
- Must be available for weekly task status update meetings, and monthly project status update calls
Responsibilities
- Be part of a world-class team to develop Embedded Platform Software for Rivian Autonomous Driving platform
- Understand the specs, write code in C/Python, debug h/w+s/w issues, work with peer/stakeholders/designers to collect the requirements and provide solutions
