Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Six months of experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment is preferred.
  • The employee must obtain a commercial driver's license within the first six months of employment; the employer pays for it.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities and special events in accordance with the Life Enrichment programs.
  • Promote a healthy community culture for residents and employees.
  • Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff regarding disease prevention and management within the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
  • Lead daily resident activities according to community standards.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to community standards.
  • Plan and execute diverse programs that meet the needs of residents, including newly retired seniors, seniors needing physical assistance, and seniors experiencing varying stages of memory loss.
  • Work rotating weekends every three weeks and participate in holiday rotations and evenings as needed for special events.
