Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of overall hands-on software engineering experience, with deep expertise in Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams, including direct experience hiring, growing, and managing IT engineers.
  • Experience building engineering teams from zero and scaling them in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment.
  • Deep expertise designing and shipping production software systems, including integrations, automation platforms, and data pipelines, for complex enterprise operations at scale.
  • Experience modernizing enterprise IT operations platforms and deploying agentic artificial intelligence into production, including multi-step autonomous execution, human-in-the-loop safeguards, exception handling, and governance frameworks with measurable business outcomes.
  • Production-grade proficiency with infrastructure as code, continuous integration and continuous delivery, containerization using Kubernetes, and at least one cloud platform: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or PagerDuty.
  • Fluency in Python, Go, or equivalent programming languages, with the ability to architect, write, and review production-quality code.
  • Executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across engineering, product, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into quantifiable business value and present to vice president or C-level audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Own the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale automation platforms that eliminate manual workflows and enable operations at scale.
  • Build and lead a team of IT engineers, set the technical bar, and personally contribute to system design and code.
  • Architect and ship agentic artificial intelligence systems using large language model-based agents, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and orchestration frameworks for production AI-assisted operations across enterprise IT domains.
  • Design and deploy autonomous AI agents that execute complex, multi-step enterprise workflows end-to-end, coordinating approvals, vendor handoffs, cross-system data reconciliation, and exception handling with human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Engineer robust integration and automation platforms spanning ServiceNow, enterprise resource planning and procurement systems, and endpoint-management platforms.
  • Own the full-stack infrastructure, data pipelines, application programming interfaces, and user-facing applications.
  • Set engineering standards through hands-on technical leadership, co-author production code, conduct rigorous code reviews, and personally drive system design for critical components.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent and build a high-performing team culture grounded in engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous delivery.
  • Define and execute a multi-quarter technical roadmap for automation and agentic operations across enterprise IT, tying initiatives to quantifiable business outcomes.
  • Drive project prioritization, milestone tracking, capacity planning, and on-time delivery while maintaining engineering velocity.
  • Own the team's talent strategy, including hiring pipelines, performance calibration, and career development that builds a deep bench of engineering leaders.

NVIDIA and CU Healthcare Innovation Fund invest in Verily Health's AI platform expansion

Verily Health has secured additional investment from NVIDIA and existing backer CU Healthcare Innovation Fund II. The funding extends Verily's March fundraising round. Current investors include Alphabet, Series X Capital, and UCHealth. Nvidia CEO declares AGI achieved with OpenAI's Astra, but markets remain unmoved
