SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
The Solutions, Verticals & Alliances (SV&A) team is a combined group focused on enabling customers to accelerate their business using integrated, value add solutions from Pure Storage. As the groups Senior Director of Alliances, you will work closely with Alliances, Pure leadership, the field and other organizations to lead the Alliances organization to achieve the key objectives of the group. You will be part of the SV&A leadership and act as an idea generation resource with the finger on the pulse of eco-system to ultimately add incremental value to our customers and revenue to the company. The role reports to the Vice President of Solutions, Verticals & Alliances.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…
- Lead the team focused on Infrastructure & Applications alliance partners
- Manage the interlock with other departments for a unified virtual team for our alliance partners
- Achieve the key metrics of the group including revenue, pipeline, innovation, and business plan adherence targets
- Act as an Alliance spokesperson at key Alliance events
- Ensure that the Alliances team is conforming to the Business management process for the SV&A team
- Identify addition opportunities for new partnerships that support in the evolution of the Pure Storage Alliance Eco System
- Helping plan cross-functional discussions where appropriate on key topics in conjunction with other SV&A leadership
- Own key personal relationships at Alliances
- Identify gaps in topic or workflow areas that an alliance partnership could add incremental capabilities
- Embody the SV&A Value Proposition principles and implementation related to assigned Alliances
- Evangelism and gain support from key internal departments such as Sales, Marketing & Business Units
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience leading Alliance specific strategic and operational initiatives;
- 9+ years of professional experience in a role that has consistently achieved revenue and technical business development targets with Alliances
- Strong relationship development skills with Alliances
- Proven ability to achieve revenue targets while balancing strategic initiatives
- Excellence internal interlock abilities
- Experience presenting and evangelizing the core messages of the group internally and externally
- Strong understanding of the operations and motivations of large IT companies
- Proven excellence leading and motivating teams in a cross company position.
- Must be willing and able to travel where relevant as part of the role
The annual base salary range is: $222,400 – $393,600. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
