Responsibilities
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate LCCcarrier performance tokeyperformanceindicators (KPIs)andmetrics
  • Responsible for leading LCCcarriermanagement toestablishcountermeasures and improvement plans are created and executedand follow up with carrierregardingprogress being made to these countermeasures
  • Leadon-site LCCcarrier activities to include 12 – 16 by 5 coverage for all issues not limited to natural disasters, operation shutdowns, business continuity plans, etc.
  • Createstandardized work procedures (SOS/JES) for LCC activities
  • Educate, train,and monitor LCCcarrier execution tostandardizedwork
  • Perform process audits and lead various carrier performance reviews
  • Provide reporting for LCC performance metrics toappropriate leadership
  • Work withthe customertoestablishstrategies for continuous improvement ofthe consolidation centers
  • Leadvaluestream mapping activities and creates LCC process flowdiagrams
  • Review weeklylogisticsconsolidationcenter invoice submission for validity andfirstlevel approval of invoicesin excess of$330K/week and $17M/year
  • Identifycost savings of $100K/annual in LCCprojects
  • Participate in network carrier transitions that consist of weeklong assignments away from home
  • Work across two shifts with LCC Operations ending at 1830 EST at least one/afternoon evening per week
