Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities
  • The Sales Support employee will spend most of their time initially in finding and locating bids via client websites and internet searches.
  • Managing incoming emails and routing to appropriate personnel.
  • Providing profitability analysis on pricing offers.
  • Assisting with process optimizations and improvements.
  • Working with Direct Sales team members in negotiating simple contracts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time.
  • Resolve any order discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist sales team with administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate sales meetings and events.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Communicate any inventory shortages or overstocks.
  • Enter and maintain customer and product data in company database.
  • Update and maintain customer accounts and contact information.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and organize sales documents and files.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for sales team.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills.
  • Mentor and train new sales support team members.
