5 or more years building software as a backend engineer or full-stack engineer in a production environment
Excellent Python skills
Proven skills in building software interfacing with/exchanging data with transactional APIs/services synchronously and asynchronously and integrating into existing workflows
Hands-on experience with RDBMS databases (Postgres or mySQL)
Solid understanding of secure coding practices and data security

Plan, design, and implement integrations between the Solv platform, Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, and other external services
Collaborate from a high-performing team, learning from and mentoring peers from a broad array of personal and professional backgrounds
Continuously improve our customers' experience in cross-functional partnership with product and customer success teams

In this role, you will be a generalist backend python engineer and member of the integration platforms team. This exciting team is at the core of our mission to reduce the stress of everyday healthcare.

In this role you can expect to:

You’d be great for this role if you have:

How we work: We are a remote-first, fully distributed team of about 30 engineers. The team is all over the U.S., with a center of mass on the west coast. We are organized into teams of 4-7, each with a tech lead and an engineering manager to support them. We work shoulder to shoulder with our product team, and our customer facing teams to identify the highest impact work to prioritize. We own our technical roadmap and maintain a commitment to balancing product development against continuous advancement of our tech platform. We strive for just the right amount of process to enable rapid delivery of the things that matter most, balanced with sane and humane working expectations.
