Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related degree
  • Experience with Python and MATLAB
  • Experience with automated test execution
  • Experience documenting test environments and test results
  • 2+ years of Requirements Based Verification per DO-178, DO-254, or ARP4754
  • Experience with test rack systems using LabView, Test Rack
  • Experience with communication buses like RS232, RS422, CAN, ARINC429, etc.
  • Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, or equivalent qualification testing
  • Experience in a team environment with configuration management tools (GIT, SVN, etc.)
  • Experience with DAQ hardware like National Instruments, Speedgoat or LabView
  • Experience creating GUIs in Matlab
  • Experience with automated testers and formal acceptance testing
  • Experience in a production environment either aerospace, medical or industrial
Responsibilities
  • Create requirements-based test cases and execute verification tests on airborne electronic hardware
  • Develop automated test tools in Matlab/Simulink or using Python
  • Coordinate with hardware and software development teams to design test setups and test racks
  • Use standard lab probing and troubleshooting test equipment
  • Execute automated test scripts and troubleshoot issues
  • Document test results with clarity and attention to detail
