Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product design
  • Proven track record of shipping complex system design, particularly in technical or enterprise applications
  • Data-driven mindset, confidently conducting research and sharing findings to shape design strategy
  • Excellent visual and written communicator
  • Experience with advanced modern-day UX/UI tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch)
  • Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns
  • Ability to give and receive feedback well
Responsibilities
  • Act as an end-to-end product designer who can sketch, prototype and see your product through to production
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure that we build the right product for our customers
  • Collaborate with the other designers to create and uphold a shared visual language for the Internal Developer Portal
  • Conduct user research through interviews, usability studies, surveys, and other methods to generate insights that drive user-centric design decisions
  • Communicate and present your design work and your design decisions to your product team, the design team, and the whole company
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand how your designs will be built and Q/A them before we ship
  • Be the expert in your product area, mentoring other designers on the team to do their best work
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity designing for developer tools, CI/CD or DevOps tools, or internal platforms
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B startup and thrive in a fast-paced environment
