Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Applicants must be registered as University of Virginia graduate students.
- Applicants must have strong attention to detail, good judgment in sensitive situations, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to remain attentive for extended periods.
- Applicants must be able to work at least a five-hour shift on the days they work.
- Applicants must be able to stand and walk around a classroom.
Responsibilities
- Monitor exam rooms to help enforce testing rules, including restrictions on electronic devices and other specified materials.
- Promptly and accurately document irregularities with Student Records Office personnel.
- Provide customer support to students and Law School personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Organize and maintain exam questions and student information in a secure environment.
- Review exam rooms before exams begin to ensure that rooms are in good condition.
- Distribute exams in accordance with Law School protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Preference is given to students who can work a complete day from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or a shift from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Graduate students with work-study eligibility are encouraged to apply.
