Job Description:

Are you a passionate and innovative Electrical Engineer looking to help develop state-of-the-art AI hardware products? Are you eager to make a positive difference in the world? Do you want to work alongside mission driven and values focused teammates? Shield AI is just the place for you!

As an RF Engineer, you will directly impact hardware that goes into customer hands and is used in the field. Typically, you will design test plans to characterize and integrate RF sensor systems under guidance of a senior engineer. Alternatively, we will find a project that aligns with your interests and exposes you to that aspect of electrical engineering. For example, antenna design, radio/GPS design and test, signal integrity, analog design, etc.

What you’ll do:

Work on real projects with hardware going to customers.
Meaningful and interesting work with a direct mentor to guide you.
Have a great learning experience with a humble, inspiring team.
Support RF sensor characterization and test for Shield AI’s V-BAT.
Opportunity to work in various electrical disciplines such as cameras, analog, digital, RF and power.
Complete product testing and verification. Identify problems and implement fixes.
Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

You have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (or will be graduating in 2024)
You have experience as an electrical engineer such as full-time, internship, co-op, engineering club, etc.
Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals.
Great written and verbal communication.
A demonstrated history of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
Have a passion for solving tough problems on a fast-paced team.
