We’re searching for a Benefits Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team and make an immediate impact! As a key member of the shared services team, the Benefits Communications Specialist will help develop and execute client and member-facing communication materials to educate employees about their benefits. This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere in the US.
🚀 What you’ll do
- #owntheoutcome: develop and execute effective communication strategies to educate our clients’ employees about their benefit plans. Create marketing pieces, presentations, and media campaigns for open enrollment and new hire education.
- #driveprogressthroughaction: work directly with clients and account teams to create customized benefits communication campaigns. Maintain and expand our library of universal templates, videos, and other tools accessible to all account teams and clients.
- #beagreatcopilot: provide strategic and operational support to internal teams by educating and training them about our communication tools and services.
- #createsuperfans: elevate our clients’ employee benefits experience by delivering engaging and clear communication that helps employees understand and appreciate their benefits.

🚀 What you’ll bring
We understand that your experience is more than just a list of requirements, so we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the following bullet points.
- 1-3 years of experience in employee benefits related communications, PR, or a related field, preferably within a brokerage setting.
- Proficiency with G Suite products, Microsoft products, and familiarity with design tools such as Canva.
- Experience creating multi-channel communication campaigns, including print, digital, and video content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

- As a remote-first company, we offer location-agnostic pay based on NYC benchmarks regardless of where someone is located within the U.S. The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $72,000 and is based on individual qualifications and experience.
