Requirements
  • The candidate must have 0–5 years of experience supporting subcontract administration activities for government and/or commercial programs, including subcontract issuance, drafting modifications, assisting negotiations, and compliance monitoring.
  • The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, law/legal studies, acquisition/contract management, or a related field.
  • The candidate must have working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement requirements.
  • The candidate must be familiar with cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, and time-and-materials subcontracts.
  • The candidate must have negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • The candidate must have experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced program environments.
  • The candidate must have written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource management systems.
Responsibilities
  • Administer subcontracts from pre-award through closeout, including assisting with negotiations, drafting, executing, and modifying agreements.
  • Assist with negotiation and language modification for nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of flow-down clauses and obligations from prime contracts to subcontracts.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable laws, Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement regulations, and company policies.
  • Track subcontractor performance, deliverables, and schedules, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed subcontract files and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and subcontract closeout.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to subcontracting activities.
  • Be available during standard business hours and provide occasional support outside regular hours, including early mornings or evenings, to meet critical deadlines or business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting government contracts or defense programs.
  • A professional certification such as Certified Federal Contract Manager or equivalent.
  • Proficiency using SAM.gov, SharePoint, and Deltek Costpoint.
