Requirements
  • Experience supporting the Defense Acquisition System as a financial support analyst, including UCAs, MTAs, MCAs, software acquisition, and acquisition of services.
  • Proven track record in collecting, tracking, and reporting financial data in compliance with fiscal law and PPBE policy.
  • Demonstrated experience in weapons system acquisition cost analysis, with progressively responsible assignments.
  • At least 7 years of experience must include weapons system acquisition cost analysis.
  • U.S Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead cost estimating support from project inception to completion for high-complexity programs.
  • Provide strategic guidance, technical expertise, and advisory support to program and project staff.
  • Analyze and evaluate program challenges and recommend improvements and optimization strategies.
  • Consult with clients to define requirements, problems, and appropriate solutions.
  • Supervise and coordinate studies, surveys, and data collection efforts.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers and coordination of analyst team activities.
  • Organize front-end team structures and define estimation methodologies and project concepts.
  • Manage project schedules and cost performance and conduct technical reviews of deliverables.
  • Allocate and prioritize resources across concurrent tasks and activities.
  • Utilize the ACEIT Tool Suite for all Program Office Estimates (POEs) and cost analyses as required by the PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB).
  • Prepare and submit estimating schedules to the PM and Cost Chief within five (5) business days of estimate assignment.
  • Adjust to program delays or government-directed changes without penalty.
Desired Qualifications
  • DAWIA Certified Defense Acquisition Professional in the Business Financial Management functional area.
  • Credentialed in Defense Business Systems for Financial Managers (CBFM 003).
  • Completion of DAU courses BFM 2270, CLE 077, BFM 2730, and CBFM 003.
