Requirements
  • You are a Bachelor's or Master's student (f/m/d) in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable degree programme and are looking for a compulsory internship to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice.
  • You are keen to take on responsibility and work with us as part of a team to achieve success together.
  • You work in a structured manner, aim for concrete results and always keep an overview.
  • You are enthusiastic about the automotive world and would like to deepen your knowledge in this area.
  • You are confident in using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint - ideally you also have some experience with SAP.
  • You show initiative and are motivated to familiarise yourself with new topics independently.
  • You can express yourself clearly and convincingly in both German and English - additional language skills are an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Support us with strategic and operational tasks in product group purchasing and learn how international purchasing strategies are developed and implemented.
  • Help prepare and follow up on global RFQs and benchmark bids.
  • Keep track of current market prices and support us in maintaining and analysing commodity price data to make informed decisions.
  • Prepare the most important information and help us to be optimally prepared for negotiations with suppliers.
  • Be a moderator of the regular coordination meetings and be present at important supplier meetings and gain insights into the strategic direction of the company.
  • Use your Excel skills to analyse data and optimise processes - and work with specialised purchasing tools such as SAP and others to further deepen your knowledge.

Freudenberg-NOK acquires Seal Aftermarket Products

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies has acquired Seal Aftermarket Products, LLC (SAP), a Florida-based distributor of automotive transmission kits and components. SAP will be integrated into Freudenberg's Corteco division, enhancing its market position, especially in the transmission sector. The acquisition strengthens Corteco's global presence and market access, particularly in North America. Financial terms were not disclosed. SAP brands like Toledo Trans-Kits™ will continue post-acquisition.
