Requirements
  • 1-3 years of product development and/or sourcing is preferred with working knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabric and finish development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related area preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills – promotes spirit of collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to work in an open environment with product team and cross-functional partners
Responsibilities
  • Assist product development in Woven Tops & OW with fabric, trim, color and wash development and ensure all tech packs are completed accurately/on-time
  • Assist in maintaining the development calendar and increase organization and visibility for the entire product life cycle
  • Track the fitting of garments and reviews product details to ensure product execution meets the design aesthetic as well as the quality standards
  • Ensure all materials and construction details from tech packs are 100% accurate before submitting to factory and ensuring that they meet cost guidelines to maintain margin goals
  • Manage the Timing & Action calendar to ensure on time delivery of all products – perform daily administrative duties in Product Development, flagging any urgent issues to the appropriate cross functional team
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve cross-functionally to ensure all deliveries are met per Merchant’s strategies during the development phase for the product
  • Manage all sample requests and ensuring on time delivery of samples
  • Assist with development of product and materials to meet Design vision, merchandising requirements and company goals
  • Maintain production trim card approvals for product category
  • Ensure all PLM entries are updated and accurate for all products within the category
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are met
