Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of two years of experience working in services for families and/or youth, or a master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or a related subject area.
  • At least two years of experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Professional licensure as LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision, or full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Experience serving families in community-based programs.
  • Ability and willingness to work with families in their own homes.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt and individualize program interventions using family strengths and skills.
  • Skill in handling multiple tasks and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license, current insurance and registration, and a clear driving record.
  • Clear criminal background check and drug screen results.
  • Must live within one-hour travel time from the designated service area.
  • Willingness and ability to maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to regularly travel throughout the full identified service territory.
  • Willingness and ability to provide therapy inside the family home as a regular part of the position.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical treatment using the Multisystemic Therapy treatment model and principles.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families, gathering information about behaviors of concern and family and ecological strengths to inform conceptualization of problem behaviors and family interactions.
  • Engage primary caregivers, family members, supports, and community agency staff, including school, probation, and child welfare personnel, in change-oriented treatment.
  • Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress with ongoing support from supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities to acquire clinical skills within the Multisystemic Therapy treatment model.
  • Assure, with fellow clinicians, that clients have access to support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Experience working with a diverse community of clients.
  • Knowledge of the types of families in the community.
