Requirements
  • A proven track record of identifying high-impact productivity gaps, designing scalable automation solutions, and delivering AI-enabled tools adopted by engineering teams with measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, and execution consistency.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through technical publications, presentations, trainings, and executive briefings.
  • The ability to collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders and mentor and guide team members.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities where artificial intelligence, automation, scripting, data processing, or workflow integration can materially improve engineering productivity and team efficiency.
  • Develop artificial intelligence and automation tools that streamline repetitive tasks such as log analysis, experiment and result summarization, debug triage, issue tracking, reporting, documentation, and cross-team status consolidation.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Python and other relevant programming languages.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate software delivery processes and ensure efficient deployment.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to create seamless user interfaces and robust backend systems.
  • Implement artificial intelligence and machine learning frameworks and concepts, including LangChain and LaMDA, in software applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions, including code documentation using Doxygen and Sphinx and user guides.
  • Partner with design, verification, validation, firmware, and platform stakeholders to translate engineering pain points into practical artificial intelligence and automation solutions.
  • Convert manual and fragmented engineering workflows into reusable, scalable, and well-documented automation assets that can be adopted across teams.
  • Define measurable success criteria for automation initiatives, including hours saved, faster triage, reduced manual handoffs, improved reporting consistency, and shorter debug or execution cycles.
  • Ensure artificial intelligence-generated outputs are reviewable, traceable, technically grounded, and aligned with responsible artificial intelligence, confidentiality, and data-handling expectations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in the semiconductor industry and familiarity with post-silicon validation methodologies.
  • Background in PCIe, CXL, xGMI, UALink, system-on-chip platform bring-up, firmware debug, silicon validation, or server platform execution.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and their practical applications in hardware and software development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or frameworks, such as AWS Certified Developer or TensorFlow Developer Certificate.
  • Proficiency with one or more of Python, C, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions and version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest and automated testing practices.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Experience with backend development using SQL or NoSQL databases and backend frameworks such as Node.js.
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration abilities.

AMD data center segment to surpass 70% of revenue in 2027, up from 58% last quarter
