Requirements
  • 2 years of college with 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department OR 4 years’ experience as a legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational communication skills.
  • Strong PC proficiency to include O365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams (heavy calendaring/Sharepoint) – contract agreements – regulatory/government legal team tracking.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Notary Public and Paralegal certification from an accredited program or combination of education and experience.
  • Corporate Law experience.
  • Health insurance industry experience.
Responsibilities
  • performing administrative duties (extensive calendaring, heavy travel, expense reporting, etc.) and legal support to legal teams consisting of 8-10 attorneys.
  • work of a complex and confidential nature for a Vice President or Divisional Senior Vice President in research and resolution activities;
  • prepares routine to moderately complex documents.
  • supporting Legal Operations initiatives that involve technology support, work activity tracking, working with O365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and Excel and providing general meeting and office support.
