Responsibilities
  • Solve complex challenges and shape battle management by leading solution engineering for battle management systems and functional mission integration into next generation command and control (NGC2) architectures.
  • Design and develop systems, evolving them with advanced technology solutions.
  • Share expertise through leadership and mentoring while broadening skill sets into areas like digital engineering, software architectures, edge cloud, microservices, usability, testability, and scalability.
  • Merge systems engineering and digital engineering to create modular open systems concepts, solutions, prototypes, and demonstrations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience integrating digital engineering tool suites to include requirements, including Jama, DOORS, or Jira, DevSecOps pipelines, and project management tools to design and deliver prototype systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD or Army policies and procedures for digital engineering, MOSA, modern software development, or data architectures (UDRA)
  • Knowledge of network architectures, standards, and integration of battle management systems with multiple networks, including terrestrial and non-terrestrial, to ensure resilient systems
  • Ability to oversee team of 3 to 5 people and lead engineering efforts to define requirements, design solutions, and develop Minimal Viable Product (MVP) demonstrations
  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • ASEP, CSEP, CISSP, PMP, or ITIL v4 Foundations Certification
