About the role: 

The Web Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for manually testing web applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our web solutions meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.

A bit about the work: 

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications and mobile, when necessary.

• Perform manual testing, including user story and release testing, to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of web applications.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities following the weekly release process.

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness on Web, iOS, and Android.

• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues using a bug-tracking system.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and other QA team members to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and usability.

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.

• Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and best practices during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

A bit about you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4+ years of experience working on web application testing and quality assurance.

• Experience with Analytics testing such as MixPanel, Segment, etc.

• Proficiency in using project management and issue tracking tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with using Testrail as a web-based test case management tool. 

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Location:

We have offices located in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA and Brooklyn, NY. While we have a strong focus on individuals near our office hubs, we offer fully remote and hybrid employment opportunities.

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $110,000 to $135,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
