Responsibilities
Load Planning & Execution: Build, plan, and assign daily outbound and inbound shipments in Transportation Management System.
Load Planning & Execution: Optimize routing and equipment utilization to ensure timely, efficient delivery while minimizing transportation costs.
Load Planning & Execution: Review orders, consolidate shipments, and determine the best mode and carrier assignment.
Load Planning & Execution: Ensure alignment with required delivery dates (RDD/MABD) and customer-specific delivery guidelines.
Coordination & Communication: Communicate with carriers, warehouse operations, and customer service to confirm load details and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Coordination & Communication: Monitor in-transit loads, ensuring on-time performance and addressing any delays or accessorial issues proactively.
Coordination & Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for load execution and scheduling questions.
System & Documentation: Maintain accurate shipment data in Transportation Management System and supporting systems (e.g., FourKites, Tracktik, SAP).
System & Documentation: Validate BOLs, appointment confirmations, and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
System & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company SOPs, carrier contracts, and customer routing guides.
Performance & Continuous Improvement: Track KPIs such as on-time pickup/delivery, cost per load, and tender acceptance.
Performance & Continuous Improvement: Analyze trends to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

Desired Qualifications
Experience with SAP, or similar enterprise logistics platforms.
