About the Role

As an Office Manager & Executive Assistant, you will support our team and keep the company operating smoothly across office, administrative, and operational domains. This includes owning day-to-day office operations and workplace logistics; supporting team and company logistics, administrative needs, and operational projects; and providing occasional executive support as needed. This could range from coordinating vendors and keeping the office running smoothly to helping with events, onboarding, purchases, or other ad hoc company needs.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a technical founder and operations lead at an early-stage deep-tech company and gain a front-row seat to how a frontier AI and neurotechnology company is built. You will collaborate with the operations lead and the broader team to anticipate needs, reduce friction, and develop lightweight systems that make the company more effective. This is an in-office, part-time role based in San Francisco, five days per week, with the potential to expand into a full-time position over time.

About You

• 1-3 or more years of relevant experience in office management, operations, executive assistance, hospitality, customer service, recruiting coordination, or startup support.

• High ownership, strong follow-through, and the ability to anticipate needs without waiting to be told every next step.

• Excellent judgment, written communication, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader company priorities.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may change quickly.

• A proactive, resourceful, low-ego approach and a strong service orientation.

• The ability to take broad objectives and turn them into practical systems, processes, and solutions.

• Excellent organizational and logistical skills across office operations, team logistics, events, onboarding, and other administrative and operational needs.

• Excitement about AI, neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, or other frontier technologies.

• Willingness to work from our San Francisco office five days per week on a part-time basis, with flexibility to potentially expand to full-time.

Experience in office management, operations, executive support, or at an early-stage startup is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Ashby, Notion, and Linear is also helpful.
