Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Generalist to support the organization's Compliance team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in data-driven environments and is passionate about ensuring HR processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. The HR Generalist will maintain accurate employee records, manage compliance-related data, and serve as a resource for team members regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Data & Compliance Management: Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems (e.g., Paycor or similar) to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Policy & Procedure Support: Serve as a point of contact for team members with questions regarding HR policies and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Training & Compliance Monitoring: Assign and track completion of compliance training programs; ensure timely follow-up on incomplete training.
- Audit & Reporting: Generate and distribute compliance-related reports; conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and legal standards.
- Communication: Support the distribution of HR and compliance-related communications using technology platforms (e.g., email, intranet, SharePoint).
- General HR Support: Respond to benefits inquiries, assist with general HR functions, and contribute to cross-functional HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- College degree in Human Resources or a related field OR a minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
- Corporate HR experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycor, ADP, Paycom, or similar systems.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
