Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of related experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Power BI preferred
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of US GAAP
  • Certified Public Accountant license or eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not required
  • Strong team-oriented skills
  • High level of self-motivation in working independently
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people across various levels, functions, and locations
Responsibilities
  • Publishing complete, accurate and timely reporting of the Company’s derivative activity
  • Working closely with the Front Office trading team, Mid-Office monitoring function, business Finance leadership and other international Tyson entities regarding financial hedge activities
  • Performing detailed review of month-end journal entries, reporting, and analytical reviews
  • Working closely with the External Financial Reporting team to produce quarterly schedules used in disclosing financial hedge activity in the Company’s quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings
  • Contributing to the identification and execution of projects aimed to standardize, simplify and modernize processes and deliverables associated with accounting and reporting for derivative activity
