Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies, or related field
  • OR
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, management or methods analysis, personnel or public administration, recruitment, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, or related area

  • Retrieve and input information using computer applications
  • Collect, assemble, and review routine data regarding Firefighter candidates' Personnel Review Board (PRB) referrals
  • Review background data for PRB meetings
  • Schedule PRB sessions
  • Distribute cases to panel members
  • Maintain records related to PRB determinations and transactions
  • Work under the guidance of the Court Compliance Officer to secure and interpret legal documents
  • Locate and retrieve court decisions, statutes, regulations, and legal research items
  • Receive, track, and review compliance requests
  • Prepare responses and abstract salient points
