Clearway Energy Group develops and operates renewable energy projects across the United States, including utility-scale solar and wind farms and community solar programs. It owns, develops, and runs solar and wind facilities, selling the electricity they generate to utilities and other large energy customers through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs). This provides steady revenue and helps customers transition to clean energy. The company also has a controlling interest in Clearway Energy, Inc., acting as a sponsor that develops projects and provides administrative support. Compared with many competitors, Clearway Energy Group emphasizes owning and operating a large portfolio of projects (over 350) and carefully selecting EPC partners to ensure safety and performance.
