Job Duties:

• Deploy & manage Radio Access Network (RAN) & core electrical networks in cellular systems. Support customer sites to build network servers (run cabling, install antennas, configure the network, & perform onsite testing of RF signals), leveraging routing & switching to connect & integrate the JMA customer network.
• Support the electrical & systems engineering teams in staging, building, integrating, & deploying RAN architectures as well as assisting with trial systems.
• Document infrastructure following commissioning of systems as well as perform end to end testing of electrical systems as part of the deployment process.
• Configure eNodeB & integrate systems into the customer network.
• Troubleshoot using log file analysis & general IP network tools.
• Assist with building customer system replications for troubleshooting, QA & test purposes as well as assist with post-sales support. 

Requirements:

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related engineering field, plus three years of experience in the position offered or network engineering role or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related engineering field, & five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or network engineering role.
• All required experience must have included: applying experience with RF engineering &/or wireless networks, 4G/LTE/5G architecture, & IP networking (routing & switching) to install, configure & test the functionality of the network connectivity; performing security & IPSec tunnel set up as part of server security standards configuration; deploying EPC network elements including MME, S/PGW, PCRF, HSS to lab & production network; working with vendors including Affirmed Networks, Cisco, HPE, Druid & Athonet; & commissioning & integrating of LTE B48 Radios.
• 5-10% domestic travel to customer sites required.
