Requirements
  • High school degree
  • Five years of administrative experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative support to Dean, including schedule management, research activities, and graduate school/student administration
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Administrative Assistant overseeing academic administration to coordinate seamless support of the academic and research aspects of the Office of the Dean
  • Arranging meeting, travel and special events for the dean as required
  • Assist in travel coordination for guests of the dean
  • Reconciliation of expenses associated with leadership and guest travel, as well as miscellaneous expenses as incurred
  • Maintenance of graduate student files and support of graduate program administration and processes
  • Administrative support for dean’s academic teaching load
  • Monitor grant opportunities and track submission dates
  • Review research articles/proposals for grant submission compliance
  • Special projects as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Some college preferred
  • Five years of clerical experience, preferably in a college or executive setting
  • Travel arrangement and expense reconciliation experience a plus
