- Responsible for directing patient care within the hospitals by performing various duties.
- Responsible for promptly following through with physicians’ orders, administering medications as ordered, following policies and procedures.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or administration.
- Expected to use reasonable effort to maintain patient confidentiality by safeguarding the patient’s protected health information as outlined in the HIPPA regulations.
- Responsible for obtaining screening data prior to examination and documenting this information in the electronic medical record in accordance with NMC policy.
- Responsible for educating patients prior to procedures, obtaining screening information from the patients for the physician and relaying information between patient and provider when necessary.
- Responsible for adhering to the policies and procedures of credentialed hospitals when performing duties under the privileges established in that setting.
- Previous clinical experience preferred
