  • Extensive background in serving as a primary point of contact with USAID/Federal customers and overseeing project health across the period of performance.
  • Proven ability to plan strategically for informed policy formulation, programmatic decision-making, and evidence-based design.

  • Plan strategically for informed policy formulation and implementation and programmatic decisions, including through innovative, evidence-based design, adaptive management, and sharing of best practices across the Agency.
  • Share analysis, evaluation, and research for better policy decisions and continuous organizational learning.
  • Create stronger linkages between the Agency’s program budget, policy priorities, country-level strategies, and the Agency’s results management and learning functions.
  • Engage key stakeholders including bilateral, multilateral, and foundation donors to enhance innovation and collaboration, leverage resources and amplify results, and position USAID to lead globally in development diplomacy and thought leadership.
  • Create and strengthen the enabling conditions and systems for USAID to be an effective learning organization that uses evidence to better achieve development outcomes.
  • Provide technical and operational support to the Agency’s cadre of Foreign Service Program Officers, who lead strategy, programming, budgeting and communications in USAID Missions.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with the U.S. State Department’s Office of Foreign Assistance (State/F) across all relevant areas.
